Arent&Pyke Design Studio, based in Sydney, was founded in 2007 by Juliette Arent and Sarah-Jane Pyke, specialising in interior architecture and decorative arts. They think good space, like a kind of alchemy, exerting wonderful effect. The perfect combination of all elements -- volume, texture, light and color, architecture, and the object itself -- creates an effect that transcends the substance itself, rather than the sum of its quantities.

“半岛之家”，坐落于一片棕榈滩上。起初由建筑师Susan Rothwell设计，现由Arent&Pyke将室内改造成一个具有现代性的分层空间，设计出适合居住者客观需求的居所。“半岛之家”的构想有着强烈的个人主义色彩，以契合那些使用或者居住于此的人的品味和审美。整体建筑被休闲的氛围所围绕，“半岛之家”作为家庭精神的外在延伸，设计师希望更多的人能够深入的了解它。
Peninsula House, a private resort shelter located in Palm Beach. Originally designed by architect Susan Rothwell, the interior is now designed by Arent&Pyke as a modern layered, sculpted dwelling suitable for modern times. Peninsula House was conceived with a personal touch to capture those who use the holiday home. Immersed in the overall casual atmosphere, Peninsula House acts as an extension of the home, inviting outsiders and insiders to come in.

From the ceiling to the light Windows to the balcony, every corner of the Layer Cake house displays the charm of the past. This is the final result of the renovation of the house and the integration of the characteristics of the period. Arent Pyke Studio drew inspiration from the spirit of art and craft, from the layers of colour, materials and fine craftsmanship, to the old and contemporary buildings, ensuring that the new rooms have contemporary details.

The Legato House inspired Arent Pyke to rediscover his faith in craftsmanship and material creation. This rustic beach house incorporates timeless design, minimalism from medieval Scandinavia to Japanese, and classic Mediterranean. The result is a home of confident, authentic, creative style. Arent Pyke will transform Legato House in a significant way, connecting the living and dining areas in two important living areas to create a casual and comfortable home.
